Employees collect donations for association in Freudenberg
Bäumer donates the proceeds of its large Christmas raffle to a good cause every year. In 2020 Christmas party could not take place. So, even without a tombola, Bäumer employees collected a whole €1,000 for the „Freudenberger Tisch e.V.“ over the last few months and on the initiative of the works council and the management.
The donation from Albrecht Bäumer GmbH & Co. KG was handed over yesterday by Petra Lange (Works Council) and Sonja Giebeler (Purchasing).
Support in a difficult time
The Freudenberger Tisch e. V. is a non-profit organization that provides food to needy people from Freudenberg.
According to the organization's chairmen Renate Hein and Eckhard Berger, the organization is very dependent on donations, especially at the present time.
The volunteers report that the last few months have been very taxing. In order to comply with the distance and hygiene regulations, the food distribution had to take place outside even in freezing temperatures.
For this reason, the employees of Albrecht Bäumer GmbH & Co. KG are pleased that the donation is helping the association in Freudenberg a little in these difficult times.
