With Bäumer Mattress Nest, nesting can now be done in exact quantities and fully automatically by scheduling the entire day’s production in one go. You need less manpower for scheduling and the operation of the machines. Manual interventions are not necessary, but still possible. The entire production becomes faster and more cost-efficient.

Mattress Nest schedules all the required mattresses and sheets of different qualities and dimensions automatically instead of manually, without any overproduction or need for warehousing.

Fewer staff are needed for the planning and the operation of the installation as the processes are fully automatic. Manual intervention is not necessary, but still possible.

 

 

Material savings

Mattress Nest warns of excessive waste in inefficiently filled blocks and offers a shift to the next nesting. Blocks can be completed with other orders or filler sheets.

The system automatically sorts the order data according to required qualities, nests them optimally in short or long blocks and creates cutting programs for the horizontal contour cutting machines – all in a single operation.

Because the cutting program runs the main program and the side programs together in one operation, a wide variety of mattress types (e. g. children’s mattresses and excess lengths) can be processed in a single short block.
